The Nickel Boys
by Colson Whitehead
This book was slightly boring in places. Despite its unconventionality with the ways in which it told the story, I found parts (such as the boxing match) very slow.
However, I really enjoyed the PLOT TWIST! The fact that Elwood died and Turner was living his future (in a way) really got this book from a 3 to a 4 star.
With its historical routes, and that ending, this book did get better, then got worse, then got amazing!
