**ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER** (and I’m not happy about it)

I’m conflicted on how to rate this book for a few reasons. I don’t typically even read these tropes but the book summary is so good, I was dying to. I’m absolutely furious it ends on a cliffhanger- I feel like it should have a big red warning banner on the cover. I never would have started this had I known- my brain will never stop ruminating over it but now I won’t pick up the second book out of frustration.

I did the audiobook for this and Connor Crais might officially be one of my favorite narrators. He is stellar and his voice is the kind you want whispering in your ear
