Six Ways: Approaches & Entries for Practical Magic by Aidan Wachter

5.0

This is by far the best comprehensive primer I have ever read on an introduction to practical magic. In addition, Watchter's prose is both beautiful and personal. There's so much personality and lore in this text and it makes it both an engaging and educational read. This book has everything a beginner (or intermediate) could possibly need to either start on their journey, or see if this is a journey they are even interested in. It will be the first book I recommend to people who are curious about occult work. I cannot stress what a fantastic read this was. I have been studying this subject for years and was able to glean information from almost every chapter that both enriched and deepened my personal practice. Absolutely fantastic text. 5 stars.
