are there a lot of issues and is it problematic at (a lot of) times? yes.
are there terms that bothered me throughout the novel? hell yes.
but it somehow became the first novel i really read and devoured during this pandemic year. nothing else made me read as much as this did - except for fanfiction, but then again, i did buy this book for the possible smut and the 18+ warning on the cover. and by devour i mean i read a little bit over 700 pages in two days. so five stars for that.
