This collection of holiday stories is all over the place. You start with a quaint story of reunited love. Carson Vance and Julie Long have dated on and off for years. Every time he comes home in fact, but not this time. After a decade its time to grow up and move on.
The second story is about first love at eighteen and twenty. While the story was okay, it felt more like a young adult story then an adult one. The final story in this compilation is a historical one. It’s a typical story of two friends finding love and denying it at the same time. There is no string tying all these stories together and for this reader it takes some of the fun out of the reading.
