Jellyfish Age Backwards: Nature's Secrets to Longevity
by Nicklas Brendborg
informative
reflective
medium-paced
I am not particularly interested in the topic of aging, but I am a medical researcher so I found this book pretty interesting. Some things were very familiar to me and some were totally new. I think this book was really well written for the average person to understand, adding just enough scientific detail. There were very good explanations for concepts like hormesis, placebo, correlation vs causation, etc.
There were also some pretty witty lines. I laughed out loud at the part about cardiologists giving everything convoluted names.
The audio version was nice, but the narrator is British so pronounced some terms not the way I am used to (pluripotent, mesenchymal, etc)
