Good Girls Don't Die by Christina Henry

4.0

oh YES. if you like horror tropes, this is for you. final girls band together in this jam-packed crossover between don't worry darling, cabin in the woods, and the hunger games. this book has everything i want from a horror novel: smart protagonists, red herrings, plenty of gore, and the creeping feeling that something's not quite right. i feel like this one is best gone into completely blind, i think it'd be more fun that way. i will say that the journey was more enjoyable than the destination, which after a while quickly becomes clear, but it's still a very cathartic and satisfying ending.
