I liked this book a lot more than the first book in the series! Unlike Georgie who just willingly accepts the Neanderthal style relationship in Ice Planet Barbarians, Liz fights back against it and challenges Raahosh to see things her way too. They were a much more compelling couple in my opinion too -- Georgie and Vektal were too coded like a damsel in distress and her knight in shining armour for my taste. I liked fiery, bossy, bold Liz and quiet, broody, and tough Raahosh much better.
