Ask the Passengers
by A.S. King
When I started reading this book, I was expecting a light read. Something that didn't contain a lot of lessons, something quick that wouldn't affect me much. But what I encountered in the pages of "Ask the Passengers" was so much more than a light read. I found myself in Astrid, and I found the best of friends in Frank Socrates. It reminded me that what people think won't affect what becomes of your life, but the way you react will. That you should spend more time making something of yourself than worrying about what people think. That you should always stand up and be who you are, it doesn't matter if you stand alone.
I think these are things that we all know, but forget repeatedly. And this book is the perfect reminder. I'm in awe. This book will linger with me for a long, long while.
