Bolt: Bolt Saga: Volume One: Parts 1, 2 & 3 by Angel Payne

Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.
I love superhero stories, and the description for this book was intriguing. I don't normally read romance, so I know I'm not the target audience for this, but I really wanted to give it a try. I'm not against romance, but I have rarely felt that it was done well enough or interestingly enough to read several hundred pages about it.

Bolt unfortunately did not change my mind. I only made it about 23% of the way in before setting it aside for good. The characters were very flat and uninteresting. What little I did learn about the two main characters before they (immediately) had sex only made me dislike them. There is no build-up, no tension, no development. In 70+ pages, we knew the FMC was an entitled girl from privilege who needed to "make it on her own," and the MMC was Bruce Wayne/Batman clone that read like a bad fanfic.

Again, I'm not the target audience, and I didn't get very far before quitting. If you're just wanting a lot of moderately well-written erotica with a thin layer of plot and character, this is perfect.
