I have to give kudos to the author: each time I read the blurb of a book in this series I think, "this is the one where I set the series down" and yet here I am, six books in. I didn't think I wanted a vampire--sorry, blood elf-- romance but I actually like the dynamic between these characters.

Also every time a book in this series describes peeps as "crashing" their lips together and then "plundering" each other's mouths, I laugh my butt off.
