Northern Twilight by Samantha Young

5.0

This books picks up years after the previous one so it’s recommended to read the first couple of books but you don’t have to. This story follows two childhood lovers who seperate but one night ties them together. I love this series and I knew I had to keep on going. I loved exploring more of Europe and seeing different conflicts build up to the story. The pacing was perfect with the storyline. This book is told from both Callie and Lewis’ pov with past and current timeline.

Callie is the daughter from book 1’s MCs and follows the journey of how she wants to explore more of the world. I loved her character and seeing her grow so much especially since she was first introduced. Then we have Lewis who has never thought of leaving his home until his heart was broken. I also enjoyed seeing his development and how caring he was of Callie. There are many side charcters in this book and we have some new ones introduced to the story. The romance is second chance, friends to lovers, and one night stand with some very steamy scene.

At first I thought this book was mainly going to be an accidental pregancy storyline all throughout the book but it’s so much more than that. The couple grow so much and become so strong after all they went through. I’m really excited to read the last book in the series especially after reading the couple’s chemistry from this book. I recommend checking this book out because you don’t want to miss out.
