“There were far too many crazy men in the world … and the problem is with them, not with the women.”

“If the club needs brightening up, get a lamp.”

“What do you want from us? The dumb girls are too dumb, the smart girls are too smart, and the average girls are too unexceptional?”

“While offenders were in fear of losing a small part of their privilege, the victims were running the risk of losing everything.”

I loved this book — as an Asian woman i related to it very much. Oh Misook is a queen and i love her. Jiyoung’s father sucks and he reminds me so much of men that i  know. The only man i could tolerate in this book is Jiyoung’s husband. The rest can go into the trash.
