As always, Parker doesn’t disappoint. Spenser’s client is killed, so he feels compelled to discover the rest of the story. And a long and circuitous story it becomes, from the shores of lake erie to Boston, and from college campus politics to the recruitment of young men-in shelters- to combat the demagoguery of modern society.
