Brazen by Maya Banks

My summary: Jasmine Quinn is going back home to Texas after being gone for a year in Paris. In love with both Zayn and Seth, she’s decided that she wants both brothers after having left because she couldn’t deal with the fact that she was in love with them both. Zayn and Seth took Jasmine in six years ago, when she was a 16-year old runaway in trouble. Now, Jasmine hopes to find her true love in both their arms, but both brothers may not accept sharing her.

Genre: Erotic romance
My thoughts: I see why the wait on Libby was super short for this. I lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes or shook my head. It was so bad. Like train wreck bad, where it’s awful but you can’t tear your eyes away (or tear the earbuds out). The only reason I kept listening was because I didn’t have any other holds available on Libby. Basically, an emotionally damaged girl can’t separate love from inappropriate feelings for the brothers who took her in when she was a 16-year old abused runaway. The narrator’s voice was pretty flat, so it grated a bit at times. They were several spicy scenes, but overall didn’t make up for the ridiculous plot. In this genre, there are far, far better books out there [insert one final eye roll], so unless there’s truly nothing else available on audiobooks, probably skip this one.
