I'm Glad My Mom Died

This is a pretty enjoyable read overall - I never watched the show so didn’t know much about her, but heard it was worth a read. And it definitely is worth it. Although it’s heavy emotionally - the way it’s written doesn’t give the reader much time to mull over each traumatic retelling. The pace is pretty quick and the lighter moments, quirks and happier memories are spread well enough allowing a bit of a breather between the heavier content. I found this to be a book that left me reflective, curious and hopeful.
