I have NEVER laughed so much while reading inner monologging as I have while reading Psycho Shifters. Sadie our FMC, is a hilariously ungraceful and (depending on who you ask) un-alpha shifter. Her story starts off in a rough state. She is a servant working for her abusive adopted guardian Dick (appropriately named). She then has a coming of age moment where some super mysterious hooded character takes her to a sacred lake to test her blood & BAM! She suddenly finds out she is an Alpha…maybe…probably…we think.
After going lights out for a bit, she wakes up at the Alpha Training academy surrounded by three Alpha Shifters who are “too pretty to be real” (her words…but also mine). They are also a bunch of alpha-holes who can’t decide if they like her or not & decide to “test her” to ensure she is, in fact, an alpha. Lucky for her, she has a homicidal voice in her head that allows her to fight like an alpha…TOTALLY normal…nothing to see here folks.
Actually there is A LOT to see in this book…and boy do you. If you are a fan of reverse harem, enemies to lovers, alpha-hole, monsters, shifters, & fae…this book is for you.
What do you think? Have you read it? Will you read it? Let me know in the comments.
