3⭐️ , mostly for vibes. I can totally see the appeal of this book for a lot of readers. For me, it just wasn’t “enough” anything-it’s not really a hockey romance, the plot is kind of all over the place, the character/relationship development isn’t very complex-but the book is a good time. I think if I were younger I’d have enjoyed this book more, but I need a bit more plot with my spice, and a lot more hockey in a hockey romance. It feels a little like a less kinky, red room-less, college-aged 50 Shades. The book also seems super long for what actually goes on it. I absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a super spicy, easy read, but I don’t think I’ll read more from this series.
