It was giving Rebecca, Shutter Island, Inception, Sixth Sense, idk, ALL the things. A plot twist unfolding before my very eyes. Quite excellent!!
I found this one to be super interesting in terms of social class commentary. Some really great themes and quotes in here that made me think.
Now, what I am NOT a fan of is the blatant racism here, I mean, the gentry are clearly despicable ones. I don't like that they kept on harping about the same misconceptions and stereotypes about a particular group of people. That just put a really bad taste in my mouth.
