"I'm fully aware that so much of me is difficult for any one woman to handle. My majesty confuses them. It’s the only explanation for why they often run away."

This novella was a nice addition to the world of Stormlight and I had a great time reading it. I've enjoyed Rysn since her original interludes and it was nice to see more focus on her here. And of course Lopen is always fun.

This did feel a little different in tone and style to the main books in the series in ways that Edgedancer did not. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it was different.

I'm interested to see these characters and where their stories going in future Stormlight books.
