Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

4.0

4.5 stars. “She’s everything I ever wanted and I want to inject her into my veins and also to never see her again.”

Guys, Ali Hazelwood has officially charmed me with this book. This is MY Common Era, there are only moments Before Common Era (BCE), and now.

I don’t even know where to begin, so let me start with Bee, who is everything to me and Levi both. Though not without her imperfections, she warmed my heart with her love for Marie Curie, science, the people around her, cats, and all else in spite of her aversion to the emotion and relationships in general.

Not to mention her equally vibrant yet absolutely different twin sister Reike, who ensured there was never a dull moment in their never-ending conversations. Then there was “you were the mother I never had” Roćio, eternally stealing the spotlight with her not-so-fun facts and again, great personality, in addition to my favourite sunshine and comfort character Kaylee.

But the true and obvious winner in the speech category was Levi fucking Ward, who never once failed to deliver the most profound love confessions the world has ever seen. Not only did this man show how much our pasts determine who we do–or rather, do not–become, he looked good doing it too.

All in all, I live for this STEM content and romance from STEM queen Ali Hazelwood herself, and cannot wait to devour her other works. Thank you again to Pansing Distribution for my review copy!
