Fling by Adriana Locke
5.0

Ashley is determined to go on her dream honeymoon even if she did send her ex-fiancé packing. Instead of going alone her friends propose they pick her a blind honeymoon date. Feeling up for a little adventure she agrees but is shocked when the man on the plane seat next to her is her longtime friend and crush Maddox. These two have been dancing around their feelings since high school and after his brother’s apply Maddox has no choice but to put himself forward too. Their chemistry has always been off the charts but will this short fling in paradise ruin everything? What will happen when they get back to the real world.

I absolutely devoured this one. I always love how perfectly Adriana can write these big families. I love the Carmichael brothers but there’s something special about the bond between Maddox and Banks. Their banter and antics had me in stitches. The tension between Ashley and Maddox was off the charts from their first run in. I don’t normally fall hard for friends-to-lovers but these two are the exception to that rule. The familiarity and their past made the quick pacing of their relationship more believable and honestly it just felt right.

I can’t wait for Jess next but I’m still thinking Foxx is going to be my main man. There’s just something about that broody man that leaves me wanting more.

Thanks so much to Candi Kane PR and Adriana Locke for providing me with an early copy to review!
