Exactly what I needed in this moment. These books are such good slump breakers. Somehow exciting and cozy at the same time! 

I'm so intrigued by the Metlaks. It's really good to get a POV from a Sah-khui woman not just the humans. And the second chance romance worked for me in a way it doesn't always. 

Wish that there had been a teeny bit more conflict.
