Dandelion Fire by N.D. Wilson

4.0

Henry York discovered a set of magical cupboards in his attic bedroom. After destroying the evil witch Nimiane, his uncle planned to board up the cupboards and forbade Henry from ever using them again. But when a wizard from the other side of the cupboards comes looking for Henry, he may have no choice.

This second book in the 100 Cupboards series picks up pretty much where the first one left off. It's still an exciting read, but I feel like the plot might get a bit complex for younger kids. I think the kindergarteners I teach would definitely like the first one, but I think this one might get confusing to them. It's a fun story and I'm going to read the third book, but I'm not sure where the story is going to go after the end of this one.
