I missed Nina the queen of waffles so much! What an icon, honestly. I was so excited to read about Nikolai, one of my fave characters from the Grisha verse books. I swear, after I read this he moved higher up on my list of book boyfriends. He radiates Will Herondale energy and no one can change my mind!! I didn't remember everything from the past books as its been awhile since the last Grisha book I read, so I wasn't really interested in reading about politics (but I usually am) because I was so out of it...
Ahhh these series are so atmospheric, dark and twisted! Its like coming home
