The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders

4 / 5 stars
I loved this one! Lately, I've found that I just can't find a good book on Kindle Unlimited. Everything I seem to pick up is cliche and I was seriously debating ending my membership. But scrolling through other GR member's shelves, I managed to find this series, and I was so glad I gave it a go.
This follows Theresa and Alessandro De Lucci. Their marriage has never felt quite right to Theresa. With a cold and aloof husband who seems to only want her for her ability to have a child, and a relationship without a semblance of emotion; she's had enough trying to make the best of her marriage. It seems to her that the man she fell in love with is only using her to have a son.
But there is more to the marriage than she realised, and her sudden need to get out seems to have shocked Sandro into action.
This is such an adorable story filled with so much emotion, I love a good grovelling man and that was exactly what this provided. The slow burn was perfect and everything about this couple evoked emotion, I was a teary mess by the end.
