Finite and Infinite Games: A Vision of Life as Play and Possibility by James P. Carse

3.0

3-1/2 stars. What a difficult book, for me, anyway. The first chapter was relatively straightforward - relatively. But from there on in, it was a challenging read. Moments of brilliance would flash out periodically, which is what kept me going to the end. A very interesting theory often inscrutably discussed. The thought of reading it again fills me with dread but I can't help but feel I would get more out of it the second time.
