Did I read this book in one day? Yes. Did I like it? Eh. It might’ve gotten a higher rating had I not read the other Bridgerton books right before it. Plainly speaking, it just wasn’t as good. I couldn’t help but feel that Eloise was wasted as a character, and I’m growing tired of the male leads being so freaking stubborn. In the case of the Bridgerton brothers you can look past it for their more admirable qualities, but with Sir Phillip it was just annoying. It gets two stars because of the love scenes and the interactions with the other Bridgertons.
