Death & Dragons by Sonja F. Blanco

5.0

“Death & Dragons” is the second book in Sonja F. Blanco’s Witch of Ware Woods trilogy, and I have to say that it was an intense and exhilarating read from start to finish!

So much happens in this book, and despite my best guesses, Blanco still managed to keep me on my toes with her shocking plot twists! I also loved how action-packed this book was as well.

This is the continuation of Sara Lochton’s story. Sara is only 18 years old, and she’s under a lot of pressure when it comes to her newfound duties as High Witch of Ware Woods.

Sara sometimes makes snap decisions, but I think that considering her age and the fact that everything about Ware Woods is still new to her, she’s actually doing pretty well.

While I personally didn’t always agree with Sara’s choices, it didn’t take away from my reading experience. I really enjoyed this book, and I will be starting the final book in the trilogy ASAP so I can see how it all ends!
