Funny, with a running commentary alongside that recalls "The Word" segment on the show. It's not as inventive or laugh out loud funny as the Daily Show's "America: The Book," but it does provide more than a few chuckles.
And it reprints the speech that Colbert gave to the Washington Press Corps, with President Bush in attendance, that called them out for all their cowardice, greed, arrogance, etc. I'm still in awe of the man for having the balls to lay out such a brutal piece of parody, right in the faces of its targets.
