I am such a sucker for fairy tale remakes to begin with, but I truly loved this story. It's really interesting to read a story in which the ending is already foretold, because that is always in the back of your mind, trying to figure out, in all of the interactions, what causes her to turn evil.

In this story, we meet Cath. The daughter of the Marquess and Marchioness (what even is that?) in the city of Hearts. We come to discover that the King of Hearts is planning to propose to her. Her parents couldn't be more thrilled. Cath on the other hand, wants nothing to do with it. She aspires to open
