I really enjoy Riley Sager novels. His books are always page turners that I struggle to put down. This book is fast-paced and ends in a way I didn’t anticipate (another continuous element of Riley Sager novels). The only thing keeping this book from being 5 stars for me is the fact I’m not sure if I love or hate the ending because it’s not at all what I was expecting.
SPOILER ALERT AHEAD
Also, such focus on the Hawthorne Institute, although (in the end) it has nothing to do with what happened to Billy has me rating this 4.75 stars.
