I really enjoyed this one. My only issue was with the resolution :I thought it was a bit too convenient that the Hangman and the arsonist who killed Rhodes' family were the same person. I had a hard time suspending my disbelief for that. But I thought Cowles handled the emotional impact of everyone's backstories really well. And oh my god, Lolli is my new favorite book grandma. She cracked me up every time she appeared!
