This book was impossible to put down and I'm sad it took me this long to read.

It had everything you could possibly need for a good adventure/scifi book. A relatable and funny main character, science that actually makes sense (the geologist and physics girl in me was so happy reading this), and twists and turns that punch you in the chest and keep you on your toes.

Mark Whatney is one of the most innovative and smart characters I have ever encountered. His troubleshooting skills are on a whole other leverl (or planet I guess).

I can't wait to read more of Weir's work!
