I really wanted to love this one, the cover is absolutely gorgeous and the title is so fitting. Unfortunately, the book itself just didn’t work for me. The story felt dragged out, the characters lacked depth, and the pacing was painfully slow, ironically. The only reason I made it to the end was because I listened to the audiobook or else I’m almost certain I would have DNFed it.
