kelliereadsalot 's review for:
Lost December
by Richard Paul Evans
The writing style of this book was very unique and I am a sucker for shorter chapters. The short chapters make it hard to put the book down and I was pretty impressed with the easy transitioning between each chapter.
The story line was great and clearly had a end goal. I do think the ending was a little more rushed than the rest of it. I also appreciate the epilogue. I was curious as to what happened to the earlier characters.
This could be a spoiler I guess technically (but it is in the book's description so not really) but just in case skip over this paragraph if you aren't wanting to see it... I think that the fact he went to work for "Crisp's Copy Centers" with the last name "Crisp" and no one questioned it much was a little far fetched. The manager did ask him if there was any relation but he said no and the manager just took his word for it? Especially weird since in the beginning of the book one of the characters said how unique the last name was.
Overall a feel good story that honestly makes you pretty happy to just be reading the book and really feel grateful for what you have. The author does a great job of putting a great message into the book and definitely deserves kudos for that.
