Spoiler: the teacher did it.

Past — The teacher, Mr. Stedman, murdered the Blockbuster girls and Stevie. He was having an affair with Blockbuster girl Katie and she wanted to break up bc he had become abusive and controlling. The other girls knew about it so they had to die and Stevie saw Stedman and Katie fighting so he had to die.

Present — 15 years later, Stedman was having a relationship with one of the ice cream store sisters and her sister wanted her to break up with him so he murdered all the girls but not Jessie because she's his daughter.

Present — Stedman asks Ella to talk to Jessie, who is the child of Katie and Stedman, but no one knows that.

Vince was murdered by the fathers of the murdered girls because they thought he was guilty. He wasn’t.

Atticus dies because he figures it out and confronts Stedman alone. While Stedman is killing him, Ella comes to the door and Stedman opens it. So dumb.

Ella — survivor of Blockbuster murdered who is called in to help with Icecream murders since she’s now a therapist.
Keller — agent who is 8.5 months pregnant with twins, yet running around (literally) solving crimes.
Atticus — Kepler’s partner and all around good guy
Chris — little brother of Vince who is now a public defender

WHY would Stedman ask Ella to talk to Jessie?
WHY AND HOW would Keller run around and put herself in dangerous situations when pregnant with twins and WIGHT MONTHS along? Couldn’t Alex Finlay made her like four months? It wouldn’t change one bit of the story, other than making it slightly more plausible.
