This is a yuri romance series, so the whole premise is based on the two main characters, Yuu and Nanami, falling in love. However, both girls, especially Yuu, read as demisexual. I'm aromantic, and I really, really related to a lot of the feelings and worries that Yuu experiences throughout this first volume. And Nanami's advice ("There's nothing wrong with the way you feel") honestly made me tear up.
So, if you're lesbian, demi, or aro, I would really recommend this series. There aren't that many narratives out there that focus on the demi or aro perspective, and the fact that this manga effortlessly centers those identities makes it really special.
