I (inadvertently) read the second book in this series first and really enjoyed it. This book unfortunately just fell flat. The last 1/3 was cringey. I had a hard time with how he reacted and that he still had to retest and know the score before he came back to her. Just kinda ick. And the epilogue being two years later? That timeline in no way matched the rest of their relationship. Still a quick read, just not a favorite.
