This was a rough start. I really didn’t like Dean until maybe 80% into the book. I know that part of the tropes with this series is “cocky hockey guy” but this felt like it was on another level. And for how often they talked about him being smart, I didn’t get that vibe. I am also reading this back to back from the first two in the series and I am SO burned out on the guy who doesn’t do commitment trope. I did like Allie as an FMC and it all came together a bit for me in the end, especially with the more emotional parts but overall this was very meh for me.
