This second book had a different pace than the first one, there is so much going on in the end, I wish we spent more time digesting some of the plot points and things happening around the character. It kinda felt a bit rushed, since it was one thing after another.
Characters also felt a bit repetitive for this one, they kept repeating themselves often. But I really liked how some side characters from the first book make a come back and get more fleshed out in this one. I just wished we spend more time with all of them.
But over all really liked it and felt like it warped up the duology well, it’s a great series to recommend and the writing felt like butter in how fast and easy it is to read.
Also the acknowledgment at the end was really sweet and inspiring. I’ll keep an eye on whatever this author is cooking up next!
