JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 1—Phantom Blood, Vol. 3 by Hirohiko Araki

5.0

Phantom Blood was a bizarre and unexpected introduction to the world of Araki Hirohiko. I don't remember why I started reading, only that when I did I was unsure if I liked it or not; regardless of which I could not stop reading. The past two years of reading Jojo have allowed me to meet and befriend so many people and annoyed countless others.
Phantom Blood is not the best part, art or story wise. Everyone likes it, but not many will say it's their favourite part. Some may refuse to read it because of the style, which changes and improves throughout each part. Some people encourage readers new to Jojo to start at another part, maybe three or four, and then go back to part one and two. I believe if you can get through and enjoy part one, you'll love every part after even more. It's worth it.
