Skip Beat!, Vol. 14 by Yoshiki Nakamura

5.0

The beagles. OMG Beagles!!! That was seriously amusing. I really loved this volume. I loved how Kyoko was pissed off with Sho for letting the Beagles (yeah... I’m not going to call them by their real name) steal his number one spot on the charts. She wants to be the one to beat him, there is no meaning to it if by the time she beats him with her revenge, he would no longer be relevant or at least number one. Omg and the way Yashiro keeps pushing Ren towards Kyoko, but Ren on his end keeps being super chill, is so freaking hilarious (although his inner turmoil reveals otherwise).
I always love the volumes that feature Sho a lot. I really find him as an interesting character, he sets a lot of things in to motion in the plot, and more so now that he has new enemies...
Well, the “suddenly, a love story” arc is yet to finish, so I’m really looking forward to seeing more of it. Hopefully it will be as good as this volume was.
