The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

”It is invariably saddening to look through new eyes at things upon which you have expended your own powers of adjustment.”

To be honest, I wasn’t necessarily delighted by this book. I enjoy the books where nothing really happens, but for some odd reason, i just found this dull and boring at most times.

The ending is somewhat pretentious in my opinion, but I did enjoy the aesthetic and the good phrases this book had.

It’s alright, though it’s not really for me.
