Great story and a great sequel in terms of broad bullet-point recalling of events, however the plot lacks the finess of a well woven well paced well foreshadowed story. Events seem to just kinda h a p p e n without much weight or buildup, and some characters and events' initial introduction as something of importance in the plot's longer run never end uo beig fulfilling... also the main relationship's... shenanigans got tiring by the halfway mark. Now it's still a great read! I have no regrets reading it! The plotline and twists and general storyline and character development were fantastic as in the first book, it just lacked the weaving and storytellin finesse I'm so used to in fantasy novels...
