Claire & Michael have a secret. This secret could potentially destroy their daughter, Abby. Someone else knows their secret - and they have stayed quiet for long enough.
I LOVED this. I flew through it. It's a really unique take on the psychological thriller, going back and forth to the events that have led up to Claire & Michael coming face to face with their past. It looks at things like DNA testing (which is such a minefield in itself), fertility science, bioethics, bioengineering - it's a really good read and makes you think.
The villain aspect of it interested me less, I mean it was fairly obvious who it was but the whole bioengineering topic itself is fascinating and I really enjoyed the back-and-forth.
