So, I have never read a Nora Roberts book before and this is not the type of book I usually read, so I was a little apprehensive when I picked this up. But even after just reading the cover I was drawn in. I loved this book and am adding it to my favorites shelf for sure!
I fell in love with both Fiona and Simon and their relationship. I know that some people have said they didn't care for the book because of how rude Simon is, but I see him in a totally different light. Yes, he was rude throughout a lot of the book, but to me it came off more as blunt, honest and an extremely deep character altogether.
Fiona seemed lovely, outgoing and well rounded. I loved her quirks and her flaws and I love that Roberts made her a not so perfect woman, because what woman truly is.
Again, I loved it and I'll be reading the next Roberts I can get my hands on.
