This book broke my heart and it is so beautifully written and executed perfectly.
When I first started reading this book, I wasn't expecting to get what I got, I expected some form of horror and creepy but there was none of that. I didn't really know what to expect from this book but I am over the moon with what I got.
This book is about a young boy living his life while his mother is suffering from cancer and he is visited by a monster in the shape of a tree who wants to know the truth, Connor's truth.
I loved this book and I would highly recommend this book to anyone as it is such a beautiful and tear jerking read that get's you thinking.
