I LOVED this mystery. The use of multiple perspectives to tell the story, including newspaper clippings and letters, really added to the tension and intrigue. I could not stop listening! While I guessed some of the connections between characters fairly early on, other character’s awareness completely surprised me. This meant that I had the perfect mix of feeling cool for figuring some things out while still experiencing some surprises along the way. I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did when I checked it out — it was a random book to fill time while waiting for some other holds to come through — but now I’m probably going to see if the author has written anything else. I think that the ending is what really captured my heart — I’m a sucker for a happy ending in a thriller. Overall, I definitely would recommend this one!
