Ender in Exile by Orson Scott Card
3.0

Ender in Exile is the story of Ender and the other characters of Ender's Game just after the latter novel. It's also necessary have read before the Shadow's Series, because there are so many characters and facts there told that have their consequences in Ender in Exile. If you haven't read those you can be a bit lost.

Both the Shadow's Series and the Ender's Series refer some of the decisions made after the war against formics, but they don't explain them. Here you are what happened. It's the boom of the soldier after the war.

I like the 'Endervese', and I've read almost every book Card has written about (except for the trilogy of the first formic war). I really loved the classic Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow and enjoyed too some of the books in both the series. But here occurs like in too many successful series in which the author continues writing and writing, though quality decreases increasingly.

I guess it's not his fault. While people like me continue reading these stories he'll continue writing. I love Ender and all the Enverse and I enjoy reading about him, but each time a little less.
